The Florida Republican senator is devising a conservative blueprint for Republicans to enact should they win Senate and House majorities this fall. Among Scott’s priorities: completing the border wall and naming it after former President Donald Trump, declaring “there are two genders,” ending any reference to ethnicity on government forms (Politico)
Culture War! Being Woke! Critical Race Theory! Don’t Say, Gay! The GOP love to re-invent themselves and to pretend history was never an actual thing, nor is it currently a viable or reliable resource!, And, in the name of some misconstrued God, should it REMAIN, that any and all Racism, Homophobia, Bigotry, Anti-Semitism, Insurrection, Attempted Coup, Misogyny, Fascism, or the denial of any and all principles of Democracy matter. The GOP loves the fact that their base of voters is nothing but lemmings, lulled by violent rhetoric, inane double-speak, religious fear-mongering, and fiction formatted as facts, the kind of falsehoods filled with gasoline, kerosine at ready to create Molotov Cocktails.
So now, Rick Scott pretending to be some moral and ethical crusader (take a look at his sordid history of fiscal and business misconduct) has put forward a novel idea, one, of course, that will have the GOVERNMENT, invade the privacy of the LGBTQ community, and be the DECISION MAKER on the biology of sexual identity. And as the HYPOCRISY flows like lava from a volcanic explosion, destroying everything in its path, Rick Scott, wants to declare that the GOVERNMENT is the arbitrator of insisting there are ONLY TWO-GENDERS (now remember Rick Scott has been infuriated that Anti-Vaxxers freedoms are being harassed and that Women, have no right to their own Reproductive Body Parts). Oh yeah, and don’t just laugh this away, because, if some of the voters who insist COVID mandates and Inflation are reasons to vote out the Democrats, all of Rick Scott, and his majority of GOP in the Congress, could make like very HANDMAID like for more than the HANDMAIDS!
