Well, boys and girls, we can all rest better, Mike Pompeo returned from the land of Arabia and told Trump that the Saudi Royalty has not quite yet wholly dismissed their murder and torture as a hoax or one terrible mistake handled poorly by a bunch of rogue warriors. (I wonder if those might be the same rogue warriors Trump envisions when he creates his Space Force) Now Pompeo also returned with a HUGEEEEE check worth millions and millions of dollars from the Saudi King and his spoiled brat son the Prince, so even if a few fingers were removed or a corpse was cut in small pieces, COME ON NOW, millions and millions of dollars should undoubtedly be a fair enough exchange. (And that was just the money the Treasury Department was able to count, not the millions upon millions sent off to Jared Kushner’s favorite bank in Cyprus or Seychelles) And according to the one man who handles the finances for Jesus, Pat Robertson, it was JUST one life and what kind of God would turn that down for millions upon millions of dollars. And remember nowadays we get to choose who is good and who is bad…you know like Nazi’s and Racists, and Rapists. So if the Trump Crime Family thinks the kind of Muslims living in Saudi Arabia is a good kind of Muslims, then their actions certainly must be respected. (The Saudi’s can murder a journalist because they are good Muslims, but the Muslim terrorists who beheaded Daniel Pearl another journalist were bad Muslims)
So we wait, and more payoffs are exchanged. Some Republican Senators like Little Marco Rubio will reach for a bottle of water and swear to God that the freedom of the press is an exceptional virtue and demand that the White House says so. Little Lindsey Graham may stop playing golf with Trump at least once a week, walk through the halls of the Senate as if he was looking for a rabbit Hole in which to disappear and frown that hypocritical frown and tell us how dismayed he regards this death (it ain’t murder till the fat King sings). Secret money will flow in the coffers of anything Trump, and the love affair between the Kushner’s and the Saudi Royal Family will continue.
Trump will trumpet the virtues of men who poison, assassinate or just jail journalists, like King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Vladimir Putin of Russia Kin Jong-un of North Korea and Emilio Aguinaldo of the Philippines, swearing that there are once again TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. And the news cycle will speed on pretending that the murder of journalists, and of course the murder of free speech is now a simple part of life. It's a Brave New World, live in it or die!
