Yes, another back in the day tale, (because the current Days just seem so insurmountable) BEFORE cable entered our universe, right around the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas, on a very special evening of the week, the TV adaptation of the Broadway play ‘Peter Pan’, would GRACE our black and white TV sets, and almost every household, consisting of adults who actually wished they too could fly, would make certain they and their CHILDREN would save dessert, find the most comfortable of seating, adjust the sound and the horizontal and vertical. Then they would have the youngest child adjust the Rabbit Ears (it took the smallest of fingers to move the milli-centimeters to make certain the Rabbit Ears connected EXACTLY to the antennae on the roof), and the ENTIRE family sat and watched the very first public attention ever given to a Transgendered female as Mary Martin, playing the Lost Boy Peter Pan, “cowed,” that she “Would Not Grow Up,” and remain in “Neverland!” It had been assumed that peter was a BOY, and if a GIRL played the part, well such is life (even in the 1950’s-Oh My!)
But this BLOG is NOT about Peter Pan, nope, nada, rather IT concerns itself with the MOST vile of villains to face a Family oriented audience, one… “Who would stoop to the cheapest and lowest of tricks in the book? (Tricks in the book!)

Barrie who wrote the original book called ‘The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up in 1904, had NO IDEA how his prose would resonate among the 2024 Republican Presidential Hopefuls, whose only main OBJECTIVE (at least as I see it) is to out TRUMP on the nasty, out TRUMP on the vile, out TRUMP on the lies, and out TRUMP on the bigotry and fear-mongering…The new Captain Hooks (again as I see it) INCLUDE: (Dr. Death Ron DeSantis/Teddy (My Kids Made Me Do It) Cruz/(Dandy) Randy Paul/ Nimrata Randhawa Haley (but you SHOULD Call Me) HALEY/ and last but just a LEAST as all before him, Mikey (please love me Donald) Pence!
