Let’s get real Americans. The fiasco within the House of Representatives could have been avoided, a LONG time ago. No, not because McCarthy had prioritized his political career above the welfare of Americans, thinking that somehow he deserved the title of Speaker. Consider the facts:
As long as Millionaires/Billionaires are free to purchase their favored Politicians, be it PACS or Dark Money, the creatures of the night will continue to prey upon our Democracy, placing their own interests over anyone else, except the Puppet Master who owns them.
As long as we permit Gerrymandering and Gerrymandered Districts, too many Politicians will face less scrutiny and competition in their Political horizons. The fact that the Supreme Court has approved this hack upon Democracy, the sideshow of I could give a shit about the nation will continue.
As long as there are NO Term Limits, people like McCarthy and his ilk, will demand to remain Political Royalty, and give no shits to the American public.
As long as it is the responsibility of the self-ordained Political Royalty to decide their own fates, sadly, I believe, change will become problematic.
This House Bull Shit could have been avoided. Like Climate Change, we saw it coming!
