U.S. crude prices continue to tumble as stockpiles of oil and gas climb.
Why it matters: Falling energy prices could help lower the next round of inflation readings, reducing pressure on the Federal Reserve to continue the rate-raising campaign that clobbered the stock market during the first half. (AXIOS)……..So, the amount of oil previously, when Americans paid $5 to $6 at the pump, is still the same amount of oil available now, but NOW, the same amount of oil will begin to cost less. IT IS CALLED GREED, as in IF THE OIL CARTELS can rob anyone they will until they can’t!
A sign of the times: GOP candidates reject primary defeats, too…After nearly two years of the Big Lie, some Republicans are applying ridiculous election conspiracy theories to their own primary defeats. (MSNBC)……..So if you are a loser, you will never admit you lost, and as a loser, you will somehow deny the truth! And all the while all of the other losers in this Nation will call you a Leader because they are such losers that they have become lost and delusional and find Leadership from anyone who lies!
The Senate voted 51-50 to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, with Vice President Kamala Harris breaking the tie. The climate and economic package will extend health care coverage, combat climate change and put billions of dollars toward deficit reduction. (MSNBC)……..Not a single woman or man from the hollowed out (not hallowed) chambers of the Senate representing themselves as Republicans voted to assist the health, welfare, living conditions, and economics of the average American. As if they were bound to the tortoiseshell of Mitch McConnell insistent on stopping President Biden’s successes, which translate into everyday victories for ALL Americans, the GOP proudly denied some relief to the public. Yet these Christian Crusaders will talk about fetuses, trans kids, drag queens, white supremacists, and emasculated men as if ALL of that makes any difference in living a life WORTH LIVING. AND yet, the Right-Wing, Treasonists, remain loyal to a band of thieves who have no intention of making MAGA/KKK/Q-ANON lives any better!
